It seems that you and everyone else haven't said a word about a DP.
If i go Intercooler, is it even worth buying an upgraded top mount or would it have to be a FMIC ? What brand do you recommend ? Is the Corksport any good?

You really need to do some reading... This has been discussed time and time again on these forums. It depends on your ultimate goals and what you will be doing to the car in the long run. Planning on going BT? Get a FMIC now. Planning on staying with the stock turbo or BNR? Get a bigger TMIC and WMI. There is a lot less places for boost leaks/vacuum leaks to occur with a TMIC setup.

I agree, OP you where on the right path that you had started, but you should of gone with internals first then ap then pick your poison from there.

Downpipes are the source of headaches, just test pipe / race pipe / mid pipe / whatever the fuck you want to call the 2nd cat delete if you're staying on the K04. No sensors, just back pressure in your way and about 45 minutes to swap it out for about 1/3 of the cost and 95% of the gains.
