I just ordered more 3.5" to increase the blow thru maf, and get some space between 5th port and maf lol. Everyone is preping for POWA

Are you using a new sensor for blowthru or the stock sensor? I know on my mustang the normal draw thru maf was quite different than the blowthru maf..it was a different sensor altogether...the draw thru was not "optimised" in blow thru configuration per se..not sure if its the same with this platform or not.

I'm assuming your asking bcmurphy? He's using the same MAF we all use.

Yah, I was asking bcmurphy. I need to work on my "quoting" skills haha. So what kind of retune are yall using for the car in blowthru? What issues arise? Its generally harder to dial in initially but yields a more stable tune from what I know.

how is the beta testing going with the 5th port? im sitting at 18 psi (spring) until i can haz 5th port. just trying to do things rite....

say im running 390 on stock system. then i add 5th port. what size injectors do i need to reach a 500 WHP goal with the 5th port, or say 600 WHP dont want to leave myself short? i dont want to factor in 50/50 meth that im running cause you know why, just for the bonus factor.

Im very happy with the blow thru tune. I mean there have been a few times i wish i had more fuel because i was flowing so much air. Im really excited to see what breaks next lol

Honeslty Dj handled all the tuning on it, im not exactly sure what major changes were made to dail it in but it runs like a dream even if you blow a coupler off lol

Key to a successful blow thru tune is in the hardware. You need the larger diameter blow thru pipe to be as long and straight as possible. Otherwise you end up having to tweak and modify the shape of the maf curve... and things get ugly fast.

Beta hasn't started yet... but soon. Ordering parts still.

For injectors, dual 1000 cc/min seem to be adequate for 500awhp when used with the DW65c ITFP (i'm going to push for 550awhp soon on my 6).

The stock fuel feed line from the tank to the engine bay becomes a restriction, and the pressure to the aux injectors will drop under real high loads. It still works... but would work even better if there was higher pressure there. One of my future plans is running a surge tank in the engine bay, and converting the stock fuel setup to a return style. Another approach is the dual in tank pumps that Pablo is working on. That's gonna be pure sex when it's available.

Sky's the limit. I wouldn't want a fuel cell in the car on the 3 though, but to each their own. Once you guys get the injectors on the car, you can feed them however you want, hahahaha.

Are you sure? Again, other platform experience, but I was under the impression they max sooner...With an equally sized blow thru vs. draw thru maf on my ford modular motor, the blow thru maxed earlier by a descent margin.

Yeah, no more list shuffling right now, too many things in motion, and would be difficult to change.

DW65's should be showing up soon. SS controller order is being finalized today. Injectors will be ordered today.... and various other lil things as well.

You should start a thread for blow thru stuff, and we can try to keep this thread on topic. I'll be more than happy to offer tips and tricks, but don't want to bump this train off the tracks.

Check out that top mount ms3 project thread in this section. The last post showed one approach to blow thru.
