Tonight we're going to get the new top mount ms3 up and running, but i'll try to make a few lines if i have time. I bought pressure test fittings so i can leak test all the lines up to like 150 psi and make sure they hold. Last thing i want to do is ship out a leaking fuel line, haha. Thurs i'll try to fab up the four remaining fifth port pipes, complete the kits. Still haven't made those trigger circuits, lol. But they're so simple to build, i'm not worried.

Had to re-order all the SS lines.... I chose black lines... because, why not. Silicone intakes conveniently changed the way they color the lines from a thinner paint... to a thick ass black coating. They looked great.. but it's impossible to get the fittings on. They said they knew about the problem, but haven't yet updated the website... great. You would think they would have given me some sort of notice after dropping $500 on lines and fittings, which they knew wouldn't work from the get go. They suggested that i simply cut the coating off at the ends, which i actually tried to do last night on my own, and it was still impossible. That coating is essentially one with the ss braid... and very difficult to remove. Oh well... they still have fantastic prices, and the lines really were nice. I'll just return the rest of the lines later this week.

It's an aesthetics dilemma for them. The thinner paint would chip / wear, and make for ugly lines. People didn't like that. So they tried a different approach (the rubber dip), and now they're running into this issue. If they made custom fittings for the black lines, then they have to build / stock 2 of everything, so that's far less appealing (at a minimum, they'd have to stock at least 2 versions of the threaded collars). It would just be headache. So i guess they'll just keep experimenting with different techniques til they find one that works. For me, black isn't that important... we'll just go with traditional lines.

Bummer. But I have to say the hose securing rings the silicone intakes AN fittings use are the most secure ones I have used as of yet. Much better than the Earl and Aeromotive stuff. I've only failed with those.

Should have given into your inner ricer right from the start like me. ![]() I am doubting my plan to use barbs + zip ties for the fuel line tap. After seeing said hose fittings with the compression collar think I am going to try to use that instead. Problem is sizing. I don't know if the fuel line OD will be compatible with the collar. For what it's worth... i'm not using anything fancy on my 3. Shitty injector hose from vato-zone and a hose clamp. It's held over 100 psi already with no leaks, hahahaha. Not advocated, just sharing

Haha, i'm trying. It has been running successfully on two cars so far, one of which is over 500awhp (soon to be on another 500+ awhp car whenever i can find time). The purpose of the beta is not just to add a lil more proof to the pudding, but also ring out all the little details, like sourcing all the parts, fitment, packaging, tuning... etc. When do you think your car will be running? Also, i heard something about the awd conversion costing as little as $5k, is that true? And Matt or you were kinda cataloging all the necessary steps and parts to make it happen? If so, i would love to give it a shot in a few years when i have a bigger garage and a lift. I'm gonna be so damn jealous of your awd 3, lol.

Well, if you can fab yourself and a good a sourcing parts doing to for under 5k is completely doable. You biggest expenses are MS6 tranny and diff, axles(1 custom), and maybe the ABS stuff. I am not getting shit for hours right now, so i cant really blow any more money to test that out. Other than that its just ticky tack stuff that adds up, fuel system, exhaust, drive shaft etc. You will get it see it first had so dont your worry your pretty little head! It would take us only a few days to get the car to run. I think Matt has the majority of the designs done on the prototype stuff we need for the car, but i cant really say much more than that until he gives the go ahead. I have all the stuff for the fuel system ready to roll, just have to pull the head off and most likely cut it back some of modify the manifold. Unless you have more insight there. I would love to carry the car to 600hp this year, but without that it wont happen.

Pretty much everything is in except for the rs232 to usb cables. I need to make up the -6 lines still, and trigger circuits. I played around with them last night a lil bit, and they're still a lil difficult to get the threaded collar up on to the threads, but it should be do-able. I'll post some pics tonight or tomorrow
