It's not about losing the option. It's about paying more now because tax dollars were artificially lowering the price.

Gasoline gets subsidies too; alot of them.

Gasoline is also heavily taxed by state and federal.

Do you understand market mechanics?
Its my assumption that most people buying e85 are using e85 as a cheaper alternative to gasoline. If demand drops because it costs the same as gasoline that will give stations less incentive to supply it. Its already a small percentage of stations carrying it. Any decrease in supply or availability would be bad for any of us using it.

I have an idea:
end subsidies on gasoline.
then end prospecting on oil barrel prices.
Problem solved.
