In our DISI engine, e85 has an "effective octane" rating of 160 (per numerous sae documents Phate has posted).

If you add 2 gallons of e85 to our 15.9 gallon (gen2 tank), you just bought yourself a tankful of >100 octane race gas for the price of a regular fill up.

Seems like a pretty good deal to me.
