Correct! Factory weighs in at 31 pounds.

If there is interest we will make a kit for the Odyssey & Braille battery's. We already have that version for the MS3 in its final stage of production so a kit for the MS6 will be easy.

Our small battery tray will fit:
Braille - B129, B14115 & B2015
Odyssey - PC680

We can also fabricate whatever you'd like on a custom order basis.

But I will save more info on that tray for its release next week along with the meth tanks.

I'm ready to install my meth kit but have been holding out for your tank. I was so impressed with the fit and finish on my battery tray that I can't wait to see what's next!

Can you make a battery tray that mounts to the studs under the drivers front fender above the PS cooler? I dont care about it being a mini battery.

Thats where I had my remote oil filter but it was just too hard to access.

We made some kits like this a couple years ago and shelved them because I didn't think there would be any interest. I can always make one or a few up if anyone would like.

I've added some new pics of the MS6 tray in our original post. Enjoy!

Alpha, I assume you have the whole EFR kit including the intake? How big is the intake and is it worth relocating the battery to the rear or just going with a smaller battery? Thanks.

Yup. I designed and machined my tray for the Braille just in case it was needed and moreso for weight reduction, but even with the Full-Race 3.5" SRI it ended up clearing the stock battery just fine so... It really wasn't needed. Nice weight reduction and a LOT more room is always nice though.

Yeah ide love to have one, I fail to see the point of relocating to the trunk on a awd car.

Cool, thanks guys. Which Braille battery would be "best" - B106, B129, B14115, or B2015? The lighter the better I guess, but at the same time I still want to be able to use a 12 volt electric air pump and start the car afterwards. How important are "short circuit current", "pulse cranking amps" and "amp hour"?

I went with a 2015 because this is my DD and we see cold winter temps. It's VERY impressive cranking/power wise while also saving quite a bit of weight over stock.

The Brailles are hands down the best on the market. They OWN Odyssey's, just look at the stats lb for lb.

Short story...

I've always ran big Optima Red Top batteries in all my cars, the 6 included, and I bought my Braille 6 months before I even dropped my car off at Full-Race... (Just sitting around the house waiting to be installed)

I tossed it in my trunk when I shipped them my car just in case they wanted to use it...

After 5 months of sitting, when they went to start my car with the Optima, it was flat dead.

Matt found the Braille, that had been sitting unused for almost a year now, in the trunk and decided to give it a shot... Sure enough, fired right up like it was hot off the charger.

We were amazed. Braille from here on out man. Nice to see HTP making us trays to do it!

Ummm.... Was the Optima terminals connected? because the drain from the electronics on this car is enough to kill any battery in a lot less time. If the negative terminal was disconnected for the 5 months and it wouldn't start the car, then that is a different story.

I was thinking of getting the XS Power D5100. It is a tad bit wider than 51R, but just a slight bit. Here is the dimensions:

Length – 9.04 in
Height – 8.19 in
Width – 5.43 in

I presume it will fit the tray?

I figured that it's gotta fit, and your site still had the introductory price, so, I went ahead and ordered.

Just one quick question. How hot will that tray get? I hope the paint will help keep it from getting as hot as plain aluminum. But, I might put some kind of liner on the bottom anyway.
