Continue posting cats in this thread.

I will start another thread tomorrow (I know I was going to do it before but I got entranced with cats) in which we will discuss our design in detail, interest in the tank, and cost (will be based on interest). Pricing will be dictated by how many people are actually in 100% for this product. That interest, or lack thereof, will then dictate how many more cat pics there will be. I will say that the redesigned Gen 2 tank is done (designed, prototyped, and tested but not anodized), Gen 1 uses the same tank, fill method, but we have one bracket to finish.

All this will be laid out in greater detail and we will see where this will go, or we will see it go nowhere, but at least you will know why.

Here is a sneak shot of the pump brackets.

neganox 07-20-2015 10:04 AM

Our diligent posting of cats paid off brothers! huzzah!

faeker 07-20-2015 10:10 AM

Why you cover blueprints? It's a cat tower isn't it.

Easter Bunny 07-20-2015 10:28 AM

the cats worked, now we just need 50 more pages of cats to get the tank released

WetzMS3 07-20-2015 10:29 AM

Should we take cats into cp-e's intake manifold thread?

It's been almost a full 3 years since Matt started this thread. I wouldn't wait to install install your kit. Tap your washer fluid tank for now. If you want a level sensor, install one of the self sealing deals or get the mz5/Canadian tank assembly.

Getting multiple requests from multiple members for multiple vendor pages, to please chill out with the cat pics, as it derails the threads and pollutes them to the point the real information when posted, is likely to be unseen. So I am asking to stop the derailing. Or as the other crowd informs me I am doing, is making MSF boring and push old members away or something.

Wouldn't a thread have to be on rails to be derailed? This thread is the perfect place for cat pictures after literally years of delays and broken promises. As far as other threads... I agree.

I would never recommend meth in a passenger cabin. Sure the meth can be diluted so that it's not flammable, but I still wouldn't want 250-300psi lines in there with me.

We wanted it to be enough volume for the meth addict to be able have good drive time between fills. We built bigger but slimmed it down to a nice size that made fabrication easier.

KCi 12-08-2015 06:34 PM

Just an idea, the tank location (just behind the bumper) may be risky if involve in a nasty accident. It might be worst case scenario which it could ignite and blow up and whole engine is on flame. What about some crash bar or some reinforcement in front of the tank?

Easter Bunny 12-08-2015 06:45 PM

If you are concerned about the consequences in an accident run 50/50 mix.

If your crumple zone is folded in that much to hit the tank, your car is probably totaled anyways. Plus this tank is probably much more durable than those 20 dollar plastic jobs that are normally in the same location.

KCi 12-08-2015 06:57 PM

Absolutely, HTP made tank is much more rigid than plastic version. And, because it is race car. LOL.

Time to get ditch the push-loc fittings to AN fittings.

This is why all meth injection companies recommend a non flammable dilution.

The outlet port is 1/4"npt fitting. This will allow you to run a 3/8" or -6an feed line to the pump.

Funny thing is, our MS6 design is way easier to make, and I have more confidence that it will sell better than the MS3 tank. MS6 folks put their money where their mouths are. We will see how it plays out.

It does. I would not recommend running more than a 95% concentration of meth for it to be friendly with everything it passes through.

If you have push connect fittings in an existing setup and you don't have the volume supply needs to the pump then something like this will work. 90 Deg Instant Fitting

Originally we had the outlet as 1/4" npt but have updated that to 3/8". Fittings to run it either way are more readily available as 3/8"npt.

Great question! Payment is due up front, at the time the pre-order is placed- so your credit card will be charged. In the event that the minimum is not met by the due date, all orders would be immediately refunded to the original payment method. At this rate however, I don't believe that will be a concern. As soon as we have 15 orders paid, we'll immediately be moving forward.

I was able to find alternative sources for this fitting on Amazon.

Plastic:
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B009PT6VAU/

Nickel-plated brass:
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B009PTIW16/

The plastic one is slightly cheaper than the one from DO and looks like it's basically the same thing. The nickel-plated brass one is a little more expensive, but for a few more dollars I think I will order it instead so that I don't have to worry about longevity/durability.
