Default Cracked dash help?

Just noticed this the other day, any ideas on how to fix it or cover it up tastefully? Thought about replacing it if need be, anyone know the price or where to get it?

Cheapest route is finding the dash in a junk yard for about $200. If this was a gen 1, I have one in the garage... Alternatively, you can browse copart and buy a wrecked gen 2 for $500 if you wait long enough. Pull the dash out of it and use it instead.

I have a similar issue. The crack is vertical from the top of the dash to the glovebox. There are also smaller cracks by the driver and passenger dashboard vents. From sitting in my garage (??) the dashboard also has a weird grey film in some spots. A new dashboard form Mazda is actually not terribly expensive... about 400$. I'm considering it.
