I didn't think about the fact that the 2011+ cars w tech package have the AFS lights with auto leveling, which is supposed to help with that problem. OP may not have that issue since he has those lights.
Same shit happens to me when stopped or driving uphill--They are aimed correctly but there is a little bit of glare depending on the angle of the car. I have only been flashed 3 times tho in a years time.

Clear lens isnt being an asshole.

Asshole would be, having hids on tall suvs, pickups, 18 wheelers. Their headlight level is higher than some cars.

Good work. DIY or a shop? Any condensation issues yet? Only asking because silicone is the worst thing to seal lights with. It is like oil and water....just doesnt mix. Rubber butyl is by far the best material to seal the lights with. Ask me how I know...

I did everything at home. I used silicone and so far months later thre isn't any issues.

I still need to take some pics of the cutoff but being cold and the car super dirty makes it a little difficult.

Will the retrofit clear lenses fit the MS6 lights? These stock HIDs/lenses suck, they nowhere near as bright as my DDM lights in the MS3. My turn to be an asshole I guess.

I'm not debating what to do with the Mazda emblem.

1. Leave it alone
2. Paint it black
3. Remove it

If I remove it I will put an oil oil cooler there or just leave the hole open for more air to the radiator.

Agreed, leave it alone.

Looks super sharp though, I was planning on doing the same thing with my CWP.

If you ever watched Neon Genesis:Evangelion, it reminds me so much of unit 2's eyes.

Still curious on how you got rid of the amber in the lights. But I'm sure I will figure it out once I get my hands on it.

Celestspeed3 Did you purchase the mazdaspeed3 clear lenses from TRS or did you buy the Subaru ones? I thought I had read somewhere that you ended up using Subaru ones because the OEM bixenons with the tech package have a different focal point or something like that.

Zombie thread.
But for reals, I want to change my ugly turn signals/running lights/amber reflectors to that. Clean as fuck. Wonder if I'd get in trouble for it in the US.

Haha yeah I'm creating a new account soon and donating when I start my mods.

Speaking of the search button though, I cannot find the part used to transform the ugly stock turn signal into that beautiful thing anywhere. I have a 2012 + tech and wanna change that part so badly, add it to the top of my list. Tell you what, if I get an answer on that I'll make my new account and donate tonight!

Holy crap. I see it now. I had to go out to my car and inspect the light, I didn't even think I had that little accent strip in the outside corner, and I couldn't see the reflector dish in Celest's because he had painted it black. I thought it was a whole retrofitted piece because it looks so different.. damn that's clean.
Well, a deal's a deal. I'll be back when I decide on a username that's not gay.

P.S. I wonder if I can remove the red reflector from my taillights too..

You're kidding. It's a plastic unit!

BTW how are your fortune auto coils Geo13? I've heard good and bad, the bad usually being they ride too rough, which I don't mind unless it breaks something. Theyre on my short list of coilover options.

Plastic or not they have a 'hard' weld of sorts no baking the backs...

I've been happy with them (FA Coils). As far as the ride, yes they are a little on the harsh side but thats coming from stock strut/ Pro Kit drop (and my 1st ever set of coilovers). All and all I love them when there is nice open road they feel GREAT.
