Lol. Geo metro indeed. Don't you think the next move by ford will to bring some of the advancements across the platform? Maybe a 5 cylinder? The elimination of the balance shaft is noteworthy as we regularly remove that in our platform to reduce the rotating mass. Is it not? Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk 2

123 HP / 1.0 L = 123 HP/L 267 HP / 2.3 L = 116 HP/L I know the math is hokey because the limitation on engines is not their displacement but their intake valve surface area. Furthermore, with minor tweaks the HP gains on the motor are significant. But it is interesting to note that from the factory, its more power per displacement.

123 HP out of a 1.0L is pretty impressive. Back in the day my mom had a Fiat Palio, with a 1.0 that made 66hp at the crank. 70mph was the top speed and it took AGES to get there. Remember: That thing weighted probably around 2,000lbs. It was a tiny motherfucking car. 0-60 was something like 14 - 15 seconds.
