FYI, you can put the same Canada Post tracking number into the USPS website and track it from there once it gets into the US.

@Lex - the GA saved me today while doing some "spirited" driving on the highway. When it first activated, I was like wtf?, then I saw the red LED lit up and said "phew, thank you GA!", lol. Thanks for a great product!

Thanks for posting this! I've personally seen several examples where the protection could come in handy including this last weekend at the dyno where a WG line popped off.

Has anyone hooked up the meth failsafe? Is it compatible with a DO kit with the progressive controller?

ok, one last question:

If the power to this unit were to fail.. for whatever reason, lets just say that there's danger to my intake manifold welds and my bolt holding the ground down just flies off.. Would it just go into a bypass mode or will it leave it "shut"?


I tested recently and its working great. Just trying to find the sweet 23psi spot.

i really need to get a new map sensor too

No problem, ask away.

If power goes out the unit fails in the normal, non triggered position. If your power lines are flaky you will see it come in and out via the LED blinking. I've built in that self test every time it is powered just for this reason - so that you know all is well every time you start the car.

With the GA as a safety net and properly set, you can bypass the stock MAP sensor boost cut if you so desire and run more boost but make sure you also have a gauge going over 22psi to keep an eye on it. In the end if shit really hits the fan the factory boost cut will take too long to respond anyways.

@Lex I have question. My wife is freaked out to drive my car. Could i effectively use this unit to dial back the boost when she drives it on occasion? Having to flash a map for her to drive it one place and back is annoying (as is her adversion to spool). To pop the hood and dial it back a bit would be great, and make her feel more comfortable with driving the car knowing its not gonna rocket down the road suddenly.

Teach her to ease into acceleration which will limit boost. Having the GA do boost cut all the time is probably not a good way to teach her how to drive.

Thats what i told her. It only makes boost if you want it too. I'd rather her just not drive my car at all really. But there are moments when its necessary. So i was curious.

She can drive and prefer's manual and thats what she drives, she just doesn't care for all the POWAH. If i could dial it back we'd both be a little better about it.

OT but u could alter your APP tables to delay power application until the pedal is mashed down more. It removes the on/off feeling of the throttle.

Yes, you certainly can use the GA to prevent the car going over a certain boost level. However, if she's going to "ride" the GA all the time with it activated it's not a good solution. If you want to use it as a "shoot" I overdid it and back off then it will work as intended.

Thats exactly what i would do. But i don't wanna half to run out and flash a map for her to drive. Pop the hood and turn a dial would be ideal.

Thats what i meant. Not riding it but just so if she puts her foot into it merging into traffic it would be enough and not over the top.

For me, this scenario will be avoided for the most part. But in an instance she does have to drive she wont be thinking, if i push the pedal down to far the car will kill me.

This is why i'm buying a 3rd vehicle soon.

Their device is a mechanical device (ours is electronic) that doesn't have a precise trigger setpoint, external trigger, driver warning, or VTA feature for the BPV.
