(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score I know there are some other How-to's out there so this is probably a bit redundant but I took the time to take the pics so here is my 15 minutes...lol so on to the eye candy. Installation: Since I already had my Labonte WMI controller and failsafe installed on the top of my fuse box I decided to mount the GA on an aluminum bracket hung off the strut tower just above the fuse box. It is a guardian angel after all and so should be above all the other equipment looking down over things. ![]() ![]() ![]() I grounded it to my existing WMI ground harness which attaches at the same location the battery uses. ![]() Ran the power connection up to the fuse box and shared it with my switched WMI stuff. ![]() ![]() Ran the indicator LED up and mounted it along with my WMI fuel level indicator on the right side of the upper dash pod. My WMI trigger [green] and FS indicator [red] are on the left hand side. This way there is no confusion as to what light is telling me what of the 4 mounted there...lol In the pic with flash you can see the LED harnesses better than you can normally...that is to say normally night or day you can only see the bulbs and not the wires. To see just how to mount the LEDs you can take a look at my WMI install thread. Labonte WMI Install How-to w failsafe ![]() Lastly a little plumbing ![]() vac block to distribute boost source to my gauge, WMI trigger and GA/BPV ![]() ![]() Once things settle down I will take the GA aux trigger wire and connect it to my WMI failsafe and so some testing and report back. It should work like a charm. I currently only use the WMI failsafe to power the LEDs. When I first installed it with the boost cut solenoid it caused issues with building boost so I removed it. Impressions: The GA works just as advertised and will gently reduce power once it is tripped. I am having a strange boost surging issue after the GA is tripped and the throttle is held open that I just haven't figured out yet. Its like the BPV is opening then partially closing allowing boost to build until it over comes spring pressure and the process repeats. Weird but I don't have time to worry about it right now. You can see what I am talking about in the attached logs. 3 each with the GA set at ~19PSI and ~12PSI on a 22PSI map. Great product @Lex!

the block beats a bunch of tees that can be prone to breaking.
