I did sir. I am replying. I have a huge backlog of e-mails and PMs to go through due to being away last week so apologies for any delays.

speedaholic 11-14-2013 10:57 AM

Paid for and it shipped 3 hours later... Talk about awesome service!

Thanks Lex

speedaholic 11-19-2013 09:58 PM

Bump for pics of awesomeness! I expected this only on Friday (as estimated by the tracking) and got it this morning, right on my birthday! :fest30:

First impression: The height is PERFECT... It's right beside the steering wheel where I wanted it. With the stock counterweight removed, the knob (426g) and extention (75g) combined offer crisp, flawless shifting. The only negative offset is longer throws and this even with a SSP. I guess I have to patiently wait for Corksport's full replacement.

Another plus: Made in Canada ftw! I know on which door I'm knocking when comes the time for a Etune...

Muchos gracias to Stratified for pimping my shifting! :driver:

Here it is with a Flossy Grip Rod RedHead:

Happy Birthday!!

That looks really nice with the red knob and I am glad you like the height and how it improves the shifting!

Do you mind me posting this on our facebook?

No problemo mano, post away!

Cheapspeed 11-20-2013 04:41 AM

Doing everything I can to improve shifting in this car. Installed twm full replacement but now I have to reach into the transmission to change gears. I'm thinking this extender and jbr's cylindrical shift knob would be a good pair.

Let me know if you want one. We are temporarily out of knobs but have extensions in stock.

lnumbp 11-25-2013 09:31 PM

It seems that you are sold out on extenders as well now. Any ETA on when you'll have a fresh batch of both extenders and knobs?

Lex 11-25-2013 09:40 PM

Knobs are on their way. We should have them next week.

JJMS3 12-28-2013 10:50 PM

@Lex;

Just got the new knob and extender a few days ago, and finally installed it earlier today. That has made a world of difference in shifting. It seems to be easier and more precise. My wife enjoyed driving the car with it also.

Quality product.

Very glad to hear it! People initially think it's a little odd that an extender will actually help but everyone who tries it loves the ease of shifting with it.

2.0t03speed 02-13-2014 03:19 PM

Just ordered one of these and a Cobb shift knob. I can't wait to try it out.

Got a tracking number on the 14th, but it's still stuck on electronic shipping info received. Damn Canada post.

I hope to see a big jump when they finally update this - I just looked at it myself. Sometimes when you drop off the packages after hours they take a little while to get updated.

Snotrocket 06-11-2014 01:18 PM

Are these still available? I can't find them on your site.

They are unfortunately not available. The demand was quite low and once the first batch ran out we didn't order another.

Dang, I had been interested in one just did not get around to ordering one. Is there anyway to order any at all? or What would be a good way to add an extension to the shifter?

You know where I can get one similar?

Code Monkey 06-11-2014 01:53 PM

I am running a Torque Solutions shifter extender with their 112g shift knob, half-assed pictures here.

Theirs is a 12x1.25, am I mistaken that our thread pitch is a 10x1.25? I am not good with thread pitch, so I may not have any idea what I am talking about...

They have ours, 10x1.25 pitch.

Lex 06-11-2014 02:09 PM

How many people are interested? If there is enough interest I can re-order and new ones would fit the MS6.

I just read through your entire build thread as I had never done that before, I am impressed highly of that build.

I am interested, I like yours because it actually flows with everything unlike just a stick...

SparkySparks 06-11-2014 02:28 PM

I would be in for one, I have a nice ball knob that would look great on top of your extension.

Amnesiac 06-11-2014 02:38 PM

I'd take one as well.

Cheapspeed 06-11-2014 06:27 PM

I'm interested. I would have bought one before but never knew these existed. Price?

swsmailman 06-12-2014 08:06 AM

Now to decide if I want to wait to see is Stratified will get more, or just order the Torque Solutions one... Guess I will wait as Stratified is a forum sponsor and that is where my money goes first!

Snotrocket 06-12-2014 11:57 AM

In if affordable. Let us know price.

Lex 06-13-2014 02:37 PM

Our extensions are $65 CAD.

If there are at least 5 committed people I am going to talk to the supplier about another batch.

I guess I should have bumped this thread if people didn't know about them but I don't generally like doing this.

markos213 06-13-2014 03:07 PM

I'll take the extender I'll pay upfront for it to..

Easter Bunny 06-13-2014 07:10 PM

dpolseno41 06-13-2014 07:19 PM

It would appear that I should be expecting an email @Lex;

crazyp 06-13-2014 08:09 PM

I want one for my MS6 please, let me know when to order

Hargarbl 06-13-2014 08:28 PM

Edit: for the extender that is.

foodtime 06-13-2014 11:50 PM

I am in.

Lex 06-16-2014 09:39 AM

Thanks everyone. I will update with a tentative date that these will be in and ready to ship soon.

I also do still have the powdercoated aluminum 2" knobs to go with the extender. We improved the powdercoating and it's a very nice and durable finish.

Good to hear the finish was improved. Very nice knob, but mine flaked. I have the shift knob and extender combo, those thinking about it really shouldn't hesitate.

speed3 britz 06-16-2014 11:35 AM

I have an extender and Knob that a local Nator member made. I recommend it to anyone curious wanting to try one. Shifts are much nicer and smooth with an extension, and Stratified's look nice!

BTW, thanks for editing my post @Lex;... :hitwithrock:

It will work for the MS6 and the batch will be 30 units.

Lead time will be about 8 weeks due to the machining, anodizing, and laser etching processes. Are you guys willing to wait this long?

Vansquish 06-17-2014 02:08 PM

I've been thinking about picking one of these up for some time. I'll keep my eyes peeled for when they're ready!

Yeah np, I'd much rather support someone who is as active on the forum as you are rather then some company who could care less about us.

What is the difference between MS3 and MS6 when it comes to the shifter? Guess I need to go back through this thread and see what I can find.

That's perfect, means I can wait till after my vacation in July to order mine.

speedaholic 06-17-2014 05:15 PM

I'm whoring out my setup once again if it can further stimulate sales. Shifting is unequaled and I get nothing but good compliments, even from die hard super short shifter fans.

There are very slight differences in the shifter that prevented it from threading down and sitting flush against the boot on the MS6.

Thanks for the support everyone and I mean that in every sense. Not planning on going anywhere and this kind of support is motivation to always improve what we do and bring to the community.

swsmailman 06-18-2014 08:10 AM

So on the MS3 we just have to not tighten it all the way down if we want the logo to be lined up front and back? I can deal with that and it will make the MS6 guys happy so win win!

swsmailman 06-25-2014 02:17 PM

Penis extenders?

In all seriousness how do I get on a list to make sure I get one of these suckers this time?

Lex 08-28-2014 07:53 PM

I'm planning on a run of about 30 for this batch. Judging from the last run this should fill demand with some left over.

A list is not a bad idea and I've started it below. Add your name to the list and that ensures priority. I am not taking any money until I am ready to ship these.
