A gallon or 2 is safe on any map yes as an octane booster.

I really gotta say this ots+ map is damn smooth. My ltft's have stabilized to +\-4 from +\- 13. Did you guys increase the idle as well? With my ots Cobb stage2 93 my idle rpms when warm were barely over 600. With the a/c on (here in FL) operating temp idle is around 1000, up from about 800. I like this map a lot, look to hear from me for a full tune b4 the 3 months r up.

As soon as CPE gets me my tmic and I get it installed I'll get things flashed and I'll throw up my review. I'll also get some before and after logs as well.

You'll be happy. I had the s-ots with my CPE TMIC, and the car was so much better than Cobb OTS maps. So much better in fact that I just finished a full tune with Stratified

I will be posting a review of that process soon.

How much of a difference is there going from the sots+ map to the full etune? If you think you get around 75% the feel of what an etune would give you, il be buying of these asap! Thx in advance

You can always test an ots+ tune out and then within 3 months, I believe, go for an etune and the money you put to the ots+ tune counts to it. @Lex; can confirm.

Since I had an S-OTS map and then went to the full tune, I will chime in. I would say the overall driving feel of the S-OTS and the full tune are essentially the same, as the S-OTS map uses the Stratified tuning approach.

The main difference between the S-OTS and my full tune, is that the full tune found the limits of boost and timing that my car was good with across the entire power band and optimized those limits. It also allowed me to make decisions about how much margin I wanted to those limits. I also learned a ton about my car in taking all the logs, and asking questions of my tuner.

So my car "feels" a lot like it did on the S-OTS map, it just pulls a LOT harder at WOT due to optimizing boost, fueling, and timing.

Thanks for chiming in. This is what we were trying to achieve. The S-OTS+ has built into it the driving feel, knowledge, and experience that we have gained through tuning hundreds and hundreds of MazdaSpeeds.

The full tune takes it one step further by fully optimizing the performance across the entire power band for your particular car.

So I have been rocking the OTS+ tune for a few weeks now and I have to say that I love it - best mod to date no question. I was hoping to get a few logs for you guys but life has not at all cooperated.

My overall impression is that the car is much smoother - almost like shifting has been tuned which I know isn't possible but that is sort of what it feels like. Way more livable on a daily basis and yet when you want the power, jam the gas and watch the horizon blur. Anyone on the fence should just buy this tune now.

Very glad to hear you're enjoying it. With regards to shifting there are improvements to smoothness in the tune itself when throttle and clutch events happen.

I have had the s-ots stage 2 for a few days now. I am extremely happy with it, way better then the cobb stage 2. I have told a few people about the tune and took them for a ride and they love it. so im a fucking idiot and posted my thanks to stratified in the wrong thread. anyway thank you stratified for the awesome cust serv. i got my map a few hours after submitting the form. totally felt like a different car. ive attached 2 logs from the cobb ots database both are stage 1 cs int+tip on 91n oct. and 3 S-OTS+ logs taken recently. the map has helped unlock a lot more power and i will absolutely be purchasing a tune once my TBE and FMIC are installed.

Here are the logs and V Dyno I took today to highlight the difference between the OTS2 and the SOTS+ tune. I don't have enough time in the seat with the SOTS+ tune to add anything more, yet. I will definitely be adding more after a week of driving on it so stay tuned for more to come.

We've had a good number of customers that are looking for a very quick turn around tune where they have parts ready to go in.

I am pushing to have these S-OTS+ tunes done for people on the same day (if on a business day) to facilitate these needs. Just make sure to get the order in before the weekend if you plan on a weekend install.

I've got several thousand miles on the stage 2 S-OTS+ tune. I'm loving it! It's corrected all of the funny throttle response with a smooth, progressive return on input, and low-speed smoothness is fantastic! Powerband is a nice swell throughout without any strange peaks, with solid overall power delivery. Great stuff!!
