| Not Ranked : 0 score I love my Stratified OTS+ map, puts the COBB OTS garbage map I was using to shame. Once I get my internals, test pipe and a few other goodies I'm defiantly having Stratified do my custom tune. Thanks again!

| Not Ranked : 0 score Running an s-ots tune at the moment (htp/sots GB) and really enjoying the car. Just a quick question, am showing high negative ltft (-10 to -16) up until 50-60g/s. Then it tapers down to -4 before entering open loop. Is this likely due to the fact it's really friggin cold out? It holds boost fine, as AFR's are spot on.. It is pretty much between 0-10C (32-50F) all day at the moment (winter) Edit: actually, it's probably more that I'm 2000ft up

You might have a slight leak between the turbo and motor - in the charge piping. Have you done a boost leak test recently?

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score I should also add. I have been seeing some variability with the HTP intakes lately. Things like how far the air filter is pushed on the intake can have big effects in the low regions of the MAF curve where air velocity and volume as low.

| Not Ranked : 0 score @lex I have purchased an s-ots+ map from you guys and I am now changing a few things up. I was wondering does the ots+ option include calibrating the maf curve of a 3.5" htp intake and tip? I plan on purchasing a full tune from you guys soon but I'm waiting on a few parts prior to pulling the trigger. I just wanted to know if I should wait for everything and do the full tune or go ahead and buy another sots+ to get the intake in before the other parts get ordered/arrive. It will be awhile before I get time to drop the full exhaust in so I'd like something in the mean time and I'm not super familiar with atr and changing things up.

| Not Ranked : 0 score That whas hard to understand but do you have the 3.5 intake now? But yeah the ots+ will be calibrated for the larger maf. Then within 3 months you can purchase a full tune for - the price of ots+ So get ots+ for your intake, install intake. Then install all your parts within 3 months and save 40$ on your new full tune Sent by smoke signal

| Not Ranked : 0 score Sorry for being confusing. I have the intake but have not installed it due to being wary of messing around with the calibrations. I already have an ots+ but not for this intake. I also have a full tbe on order but it will be some time before it arrives. I want to use the new intake before the exhaust arrives. Hence ordering another sots+ map for the new intake then upgrading to a full tune once the exhaust is in. I just wanted to know if the ots+ maps would calibrate the maf or if I would still need to do this on my own. The website states they will not evaluate logs so I'm confused if the calibration will be off at all with any ots map. Does that clarify?

| Not Ranked : 0 score Either you get all your parts on within the 3 months from ots+ purchase and get discount on full tune Or just install intake and get another ots+ with your current mods (3.5 intake) and then you have 3 months to put your exhaust and shit and get your new full tune for a discount Have fun

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score We do build the maps for your modifications and that includes the MAF calibration. We have developed calibrations for pretty much any intake out there. That being said big intake cars really do benefit from a full tune to exploit all the gains from a big intake - especially a 3.5". So we can certainly get you another sots+ or we can get started on a full tune. This depends on your schedule as well. There is a two week grace period in the tune if you want to have a break while installing more parts. Send me a PM if you like and we can discuss the best route to take for your situation.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Indeed the idle setting is 850 which is a nice compromise for comfort as well as preventing turbo smoke.

| Not Ranked : 0 score So i got 1 of these the other day and im really satisfied. I jave a feeling that the answer is yes, but is there a world of a difference from a s+ots map, to a custome tune? The only thing holding me back is purchasing a downpipe or testpipe

My favorite part is that instead of assuming my car is safe, I know it's safe. Since I was involved in finding my cars limits and I made the decisions about how much margin I wanted to those limits, I feel completely comfortable pushing my car as hard as I want whenever I want. I now have a confidence in the car that I didn't have with ots maps or even when the car was bone stock, as the factory tune caused some questionable behavior in my opinion.

| Not Ranked : 0 score From what I have read there is a major difference between the 2. I myself am not trying to break records since it's is my DD but I have the sots+ and it is great. And now seeing the difference that made I'm almost ready to buy a DP or RP catless and then due the full tune. I've had a custom tune before from another performance shop but the sots+ makes it a whole new experience. Plus you'll be getting added gains from installing the dp |

| Not Ranked : 0 score I got my OTS tune today and all I can say is WOW. What a difference between the Cobb OTS map I was running. My car runs smooth as silk, pulls hard and actually gets better mileage. I ran through a half tank today and got an average of 2mpg better, even with getting on the car a lot. After I decide on an exhaust and IC setup, I will be contacting you for a custom full tune. Thanks Lex, best $40 my car has seen (except for the donation to the forum..lol) Anyone limping by on the Cobb OTS maps, really needs to get a hold of Lex. You won't be sorry.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Hey Lex, what are the pros and cons of doing a full tune in dead of summer? Here in the U.S.A.'s penis state (floriduh) I am regularly seeing temps in the high 90's. The hotter it is usually means less O2 volume. If tuned for hotter temps, when it gets cooler O2 volume goes up which mean leaner mix, will the ecu compensate properly? I guess what I'm asking is, would it be better to have a summer tune AND a winter tune? Or would the single tune be safe and effective? Thanks in advance, your friendly neighborhood shit thrower

| Not Ranked : 0 score Purchased, received, and flashed the S-OTS+ Stage 2 on 91 today. Like everyone else has mentioned it's an amazing change for $40. I haven't had a chance to drive it around that much but did notice the following: -Extremely smooth power delivery, all the way to redline -Throttle response is smoother, not as 'jerky' as before -Shifting feels much smoother, not as 'jerky' (due to the throttle response I'm sure) Overall drivability has improved quite a bit. I was using the free Stratified S-OTS Stage 2 map before and thought that was pretty awesome already but for the price, the OTS+ is a no brainer and was worth every penny and then some. |

If fuel octane is very high (E85) targeting boost allows you to have more power in the winter when temperatures drop and gives you the knock resistance in the summer due to the fuel. Having been doing this through the seasons for several years I know what to expect from the car year-round regardless of when we actually tune. In cold climates it gets unsafe to log when there is snow on the ground but otherwise it is really up to you when you'd like to do the tune.

| Not Ranked : 0 score I got one of the sots+ maps for my setup with the catted DP, but was not able to stop the car from over boosting with it. I ended up having to go full tune and car runs great now. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score Another Stratified OTS S+ success. My 2008 MS3, running a COBB stage 2 map, was driving me batty, on the serpentine back roads in my area...the abrupt power delivery made for no-fun driving. My attempts to tune the COBB map did not provide enough improvement. The OTS S+ map improves the power delivery by a remarkable amount...it now drives smooth, with no schizophrenic boost building. I figure that Stratified saved me a bunch of money, since I now don't feel the need to shop for a new car. A full custom etune is in my future. Thanks, Stratified...you made a believer out of me.

| Not Ranked : 0 score I agree. The combo of Stratified S-OTS map and the JBR Power Path Stage 2 is an addictive bolt-on mod for the car and literally breathes new life into a nearly 7 year old car! Last edited by vtdone; 10-02-2014 at 06:03 PM. Reason: Found the anser to my question |

| Not Ranked : 0 score Finally installed some parts i had sitting around and flashed my s-ots plus tune. As many others have said before, this blows the cobb ots tunes out of the water. Response, smoothness in both part throttle cruising/shifting and flooring the gas pedal is amazing. Am slowly acquiring parts for my bt build but will be more than happy running this for a while ![]() Tapatorque steering
