Don't know how much cooler you're going to get in the midst of winter. What were BAT's?

The car had no IC fan and it was heatsoaked in the shop. The log shows mid 120s rising to 140 in the end of the run ... this wouldn't be the case on the street in the winter.

Wow, that's high. Higher than I'd want them to be in the dead of summer at the track.

It's high but now I know that the tune is going to do exactly what it's suppose to at higher BAT's. During a 85° day time trialing or at autocross I've seen my BAT's up in excess of 125°.

Also on the 3rd run my BAT's were around 85° because we hooked up the IC fan.

I really hope that when I get my bigger TMIC that it'll be efficient enough to handle the warmer days. Granted, we don't get a lot of them. 125 is OK.

You certainly do a lot of advertising.

Eh, all the stickers on the left sides are the tracks I race at and the ones on the right are the nator ny logo and my racing teams logo.

Looking sexy! Love it and glad you got the decal!

Damn @Lex, good job with the OP's tune! I haven't cracked 300WHP yet, WHILE running SRI+TMIC+DP+50/50 meth!... I might have to have you look at my map for some pointers once I get around to running 100% meth!

Great to see what you can get with just sri tp and hpfp :3

Sorry for bumping this older thread, but i couldnt help but notice the logs Fisch had posted.
@Lex Sir, I noticed that he was running 20 psi on just a TIP+SRI+FP internals for the street tune. Does that have any sort of negative effect on the car running that much boost for the mods he has ? Reason i ask is he and i have the same damn mods, and im making similar power levels, i just didnt know you could run that much boost on such a light modification list. Reason im asking is purely for learning on my part, as i know your a monster in this field. Could you explain a bit on this to me ?

The amount of boost does not have to correlate to the mods installed. Yes, more boost generally requires better cooling but the K04 doesn't have that much more overhead to work with. I also target higher boost levels where the turbo is efficient (in the midrange) and these generally taper off near redline.

Also remember that a street tune differs from a road course tune since they have different requirements - I would be running less boost if the car is driven at WOT consistently.
