Funny story

So I was driving from one of my work locations to another early this afternoon, and I noticed that an officer from a local police dept. was checkin me out driving. He pulled over and let me pass...then pulled right back out behind me. He did this a few times over a couple mile span...eventually he pulled into my office's parking lot. When I got out he had his window down and said, "sorry, there is no problem, just admiring your Speed." He proceded to get out and chat me up for 10 minutes on the car, saying he has been thinking about getting one and that he never sees them in our area. He was pretty knowlidgable about the Speeds. Was pretty friendly and cool...he was probably about 40yrs old. Just thought I'd share a funny afternoon story!

I'll give you guys another similar funny story: I was driving north to Canada and got into a mild race with a mustang.... I let up about 120 and he kept going. I pulled into a rest stop for gas and he was there, he came over and flashed his badge, he said he was a cop and he knew all about the MS3 and was considering buying one. He wanted to know how fast it really was, so I told him that I had never really opened it up (Lie!). So he told me to go ahead and open it up on this long stretch of the highway that he was patroling in his un marked car that night, and he would put his lights on and follow me. I opened it and left the mustang at about 135, I got up past 145 and then let off.... He came with his lights flashing, so I pulled over and he ran out of the car asking how fast I went... I was not sure and had to check my GPS and when I told him 147 he said that he was going to buy one the next week!

i was sitting at a light and i hear someone honk their horn. i didnt pay it any attention so they honk again, i look and theres a guy trying to get my attention.

then he says, "how do you like your car?"
me: "you know what this is?"
him: "its a speed 3 right? and is it lowered?"
me: "haha, yeah"
him: "how do you like it?"
me: "i love it, its a fun car and few mods really wakes it up. im suprised you know what this is. shows this car is getting really popular"
him: "yeah, im looking at trading this(new ford explorer) and getting one...ive been following them for a while and told my wife i want one...ive noticed alot of people have them around here, what do you have done to it?"

i named my mods, then light turns green.

me: "get one, you will love it."
him: "i sure will, can you get on it so i can hear the exhaust"
me: "sure, see ya"

he was in his mid 40's

All I ever get is old ladies at my apartment complex telling me how "cute" my car is.

Yeah I thought so too...so before we took off, I went back to him to ask to go over the plan again...but I had my Iphone recording in my pocket. I actually told him that I had recorded the conversation after I realised it was not a trap, and he thought it was a "good move"
