Default AFR in the 9's

Like the title states, saw my AFR hit low 9's today when I gave it some gas, but not wot, in 2nd gear. They did start to raise into the 10's but I backed off cause I was so freaked out. AFR is usually all I would monitor but a few days ago I started monitoring knock and some other stuff just for shits. They would usually be in the low 11's. It was alot cooler today than it has been in the last week or so. First thought is to reflash my map. Its a stage 1 fmic map that I've modified in ATR, nothing crazy, just calibrated the MAF and did some boost smoothing stuff as shown on some threads in here. Anything else I should try or monitor to figure out the problem?

My ap also shows as low as 9 sometimes, its usually between shifts however.
From what I understand the injectors shut off when the clutch is pushed, that would make sense then right?

well yea I know what you're talking about but I was watching the AP as I was flooring it so it couldn't be that. On my commute to work tomorrow I'll try and replicate it and see what happens.

checked my LTFT this morning. Idle was -16, yikes! I reflashed and things don't look much better. Idle currently at -10, -8 during normal acceleration. When I calibrated my MAF 6 months ago it was perfect, so either I have a leak somewhere on the intake side or something else is messed up. I will post a log after work but I still have the old ATR so my boost will show up all weird.

Well I attached a datalog. It is still with the old ATR so my boost is obviously reading wrong, not sure if anything else is affected. My apologies for the horrible log, but my car is definitely acting weird so I didn't want to continue. Definitely worried about my wastegate being at 99 and my AFR dropping to mid 10's with barely any throttle. Only about 10 miles on the reflash so maybe that has something to do with it. Will definitely make some better pulls tomorrow.

as far as I know, cobb said it was only boost that wouldn't read correctly if you're map is a 107 and your AP is updated to the new software. I wasn't close to wot, throttle is only in the high 30's. Like I said I could tell my car acting weird so I didn't wanna push it.

your LTFTs are way in the negative so I suspect your MAF cal is way off. This would both support the -9 Logged LTFT and the -16 you posted along with 10AFRs. Maybe your intake had a leak when you calibrated months ago and now it isn't leaking, leaving you way too high on your MAF cal.

Also the .7 KR will cause the ECU to inject more fuel so it adds to the richness in the beginning of the log.

Looks like the maf is off the most around 3.31 volts. If you see that 9AFR occur multiple times in that range its def the maf.

Well I changed from my ATR map to the OTS v108 91 Octane SRI + FMIC. LTFTs are much better. -2 normal acceleration, -6 cruising, and close to 0 during hard acceleration(not wot). Car feels much better, noticing AFRs aren't as rich and it pulls much harder, attached a couple datalogs. When I get the time I'll calibrate the MAF using this map as a base.

Could weather be a factor? MAF cal in November in NJ vs temps in May? This is why I aim to log at least once a month. Glad you're running better.

Still tweaking every couple of days with ATR but my ltfts have settled nicely. Attached some datalogs that I did tonight. First one is 3rd barely getting into 4th. I got scared cause I thought I saw a cop behind me on the highway I was getting onto. 2nd datalog I thought I was at wot, but turns out I wasn't. Still, these are the first logs that I've seen my Load go over 2.0 so I guess thats a good thing.

My goals power wise are to finish with bolt ons, just need the CNT catted DP, once i get that I'll get it protuned and I think I'll be done, although it would be nice to get an exhaust manifold. Other than that, get some konis to go with my H&R's that are sitting in my garage and I'll be content.....(I think). I'll try and do a full log tomorrow, what gear should I do it in? 4th?

K, here are 2 logs. Both in 4th gear @ wot. Boost only gets to 15, which I've noticed in 1 gear runs. If I had started in 3rd gear and shifted into 4th then I would have hit higher boost. Is that normal? I feel like I should be getting to full boost in any gear at wot.
