Cali 91 Stage 1+SF with throttle smoothing applied 2 Attachment(s) I was asked to post this and here it is. For me it is the best map, have tried yet. Super linear but without the overly weak and mashed potato feeling of just the linear throttle tweak. It is a combo of Cali 91 103 Stage1+ map with the following added, the smooth throttle tweak made by Aaronc7 and some boost and Throttle DBW table changes posted by fjames. And I upped the max speed limit too. Thanks to both users. This map is a keeper for me, for now. |

But basically what it does is take your base map, use the linear throttle table created by Christian for another map, and then use the Stock Boost and DBW tables that were modified by fjames, he looks to have basically taken the stock maps for those (the stock curve) and made them higher in any areas that Christian had made them higher. My thanks goes out to Christian, Aaronc7 and fjames for making this possible. Be sure to check the curves of each against stock and against your raw base map to see what the changes are and make sure you have copied and pasted correctly. Anyway for me it is the best driving map BY FAR, I drove at Laguna Seca today with it, much better than any I have used in the past. I have had 0 knock so far either. Oh and I upped the speed limiter on mine also to the max projected speed in 6th at redline. Enjoy. |

Out of curiosity, how come the OTS map looks so much more linear in the DBW table than the one you posted? It looks more like the stock table. |

I tried an experiment to make the DBW totally linear from top to bottom, I posted the table in fjames thread, it was terrible, close to undrivable, try it if you like.... or try the cobb ots DBW and see if you like it better. At this point you must 1) Decide if doing a change is safe 2) Try the change repeat Its all about experimentation. But for me for now, this map works. |

If you dont have ATR any map made with ATR will not work with your AP. If you do have ATR, you can easily make the map yourself. If you are too worried to do it yourself maybe you shouldn't be messing with anything. Personally I would be more worried having some one else do it. I would love to make a map for you directly but 2 things stop me. 1) If I do it for you, you wont learn how 2) If I build it, and your car happens to blow up tomorrow, I have just opened myself up to tremendous liability. You would blame me for your car blowing up (yes you would)............ Sorry but I am not willing to take that responsibility, hope you understand. In fact I removed the map I made for my own car from here for a while, but decided to post it back up, I have been running it a while now and prefer it over anything else. The instructions to do what you want are in this thread/section and in the ATR documentation. |
Fair enough I just filled out the ATR survey to get the software. I have read the docs already and it seems easy enough. |

Update. Reposted my map. First one is the initial changes. Second one also has the throttle requested load upped in 5th and 6th. This is the Map I am currently running. |
