Not yet. Most likely 4-6 weeks to go, but that is just an estimation.

They manf the intercooler, but the interior of the intercooler was modified to Cobb specs.

Even better way is not let your retailers sell it for under your company's set price.

But it doesn't help them not to be selling products, it only slows their cash flow not to be moving kits right now.

Any word on fitment issue with the HKS SSQV, Cobb FMIC and SRI?

I agree that a groan wasn't necessary; a well balanced supply and demand strategy keeps demand and average unit sale price values up as frustrating as that is for consumers.

Cobb hasn't launched a product yet that has been readily available or on time or in my case (sri, tbe, fmic, ap, stg 2 suspension etc.) even worked together (fmic map) but i am sure when its all said and done the ms3 community will have proved to be very profitable for them since we can't get enough (literally lol)

So like it or hate it.... its good business. Drives me crazy

I wish it was some sort of well played strategy instead of us being cautious with the amount of piping on the first batch. We wanted to make sure things went without a hitch before we made a larger batch.

And yes, on this application we are using a Spearco core with our own specs on the core. On another FMIC we are working on for a Subaru we are using a different manufacturer for the core. Our policy is to test the different options and choose what works best on that car, in that application, based upon what the dyno and data say. This may lead to things like different manufacturers for things like filters, FMIC cores, sway bars, etc.

The 1.02 version of the mapping is on the site.

And the last time posted is still correct. We have cores here, more on the way, just really waiting on piping. There is also a revision to one off the brackets to allow the ambient air temp sensor to mount to the driver's side intercooler core bracket. Something we had already changed, but it will help the people whining about how putting it in a hole on the framerail was the worst thing ever, however they could not seem to move it.

Like that damn temp sensor is even accurate to begin with. Thanks for the update!

Didn't like the readings I was getting with it there, so when I pulled the bumper to re-align the pipes (didn't quite have as much clearance at the frame as I wanted) I drilled a hole in the plastic of the grill in the upper drivers side corner to pop it in there. Turns out I should have measured more carefully (put the hole to high and the sensor was wedging against the bumper beam) as I ended up having to zip tie it to the hole instead of just using the clip, but that's where it is now. It is mostly hidden and gives about the same readings as I was getting in the stock location.

Mine actually seems to be pretty accurate (within 1 or 2 degrees) when sitting in the grill. At the suggested location for the FMIC install it was often off by 20+ degrees.

For real though, not busting your balls, im sure you guys have good reasons for the delays...how about you jus make 1000 of each...theres gonna be atleast 10,000 MS3s on the road soon...minus the guys that crashed.
