Default Maybe a stupid question.....

I am following Abilor's rooming guide by noobies. How does having a manual boost controller affect the waste gate duty tables or any other tables for that matter?

I am running a mazdaspeed cai, forge recirc, sure tip, auto tech internals, CPE high flow catted down pipe, turbosmart in cabin mbc, and hks cbe.

I also changed some of the ots figures that were more aggressive than the figures in the guide. Should I have left the aggressive figures alone?

I forgot to add that I have the mbc set at 19 psi. It tapers down to about 16.5 to 17 psi.

Dude you seriously need to dump that boost controller. The stock system is adequate for the stock turbo with light bolt-ons. Your gonna fuck up your shit.

Problem was using the ots maps it was supposed to hit 19 but didn't get past 16.

9 times out of 10 the stock turbo will not be able to hold boost after 5500 rpm. Secondly, remove the mbc and use the stock ebc. It is more than capable, safer, and easier to implement.

the stock ebc holds boost steady compared to an mbc. i ditched mine. if your tuned with an ap or equivalent your boost will be at what ever you tune is set at. mine holds steady at about 16 and dosent flinched throughout the whole rpm range

Just an FYI on this since it wasn't covered exactly...

The MBC will override the boost control tables in ATR since the ECU isn't connected to the boost controller anymore. You could put the WGDC tables to basically whatever because they don't do anything at that point.

But as everyone else said, the EBCS is the way to go with this car, at least on stock and bolt-on turbo setups because you can control everything through the ECU
