OTS Map hitting high 11 afr 1 Attachment(s) I have been reading up a lot on tuning and trying to self tune. I read that 11.8 is a good afr to aim for. After cal my maf I did a wot log and saw that ots is hitting high 11 sometimes 12. Is this normal? |
Depends on your mods, fuel, and which map you're running. If you're targeting 11.6 and your actual AFR is 12, something is off. (Like your MAF cal.) I've got to deal with shitty California 91 octane, so I'm targeting 11.4. Since you're only getting minor KR and your HPFP press is good, I think you're ok. As temps increase though, you'll have to watch it carefully. Also check Buckler's guide for the Knock Sensor tables if you haven't already. |
The numbers alone don't tell anything. It's important to mention also the circumstances when the AFR's went below 11. And it looks like they did that only when the ECU switched from open loop to closed loop (where you also had some light knock because of the high BAT's, spool up and sudden change in air flow, and so on). But apart from that your log looks fine. |
I'm in Florida so the temp dosen't change much its just weird because this is a stage 2 ots map and what I have read is that I should command about 11.8. This is hitting 11.9. And from what im getting from my ATR is that its commanding 11.0 (well I think it is since its .789). Im glad that nothing looks like its going wrong but wondering why ATR is commanding 11.0 and im hitting 11.9 and my MAF cal is abs 3. I'm fully bolted on. 93 oct |
@mrsmith; Protip In ATR: Edit>Configure options>Display tab>Tick the "show standard units" box Now you dont have to deal with converting lambada. |
