tuning by Boost_creep

I've been working with @Boost_creep for awhile now, just thought I would post results of his most excellent work. Keep in mind this is with my modest list of mods, targeting 19.5psi. Using VD with CF of 1.01, as suggested by the forum, tire size 235/40-18, weight...very fat...some of us needz more HP than others LOL

Mods in sig. Oh, this was with the IC shroud off; we're trying to see if we can track down some random KR.

EDIT: I'll post a datalog with stock tune and one with a canned Cobb Stage 1 tune tomorrow morning; I datalog in the mornings for consistency. I could post what I have, but I added the TIP and fixed some things while we were working together. So they wouldn't really be accurate. I think I started at around 230whp....LOL

Thanks for posting this, Ben!

Your car has really come a long way. Now, if only you had some local e85, we could make even more!

Oh I know....not many people in this shit-hick town.

Well since you started it, heres mine as well.
Not finished yet. However, this is from the 6th revision with 2.5 degrees overall ignition adv. so far.

Ill have to post the log later when i get home from work.

Mods in sig, using roughly 95 octane.
@Boost_creep Thanks again and again man, my car has changed for the better.

*I originally had this posted under Dj's " Battle My Virtual Dyno" , no one's been checking that page out lately.

Ever try race gas ? May be a bit more pricey, but here in AK the highest pump octane available is 90 so i run 4 gallons of 104 unleaded with 90 Shell pump gas every fill up.
Running about 18.5 psi tapering to 17 with 2.5 ign. adv I have absolutely no problems.
But on another note, im also running real nice BAT's, usuallly between 70 to 90 degrees at WOT. I spend 75 bucks every time i fill up from the gas light being on. ~ Every 2 weeks daily driving.

Its worth the piece of mind , if you know what i mean.

I don't think there's any race gas here either, but I could be wrong. In any case the corn isn't too far; it's around 50 miles away. The KR I'm seeing is partly due to noise; the last map was the first time we saw "real knock." So he's dialing it back a little here, adding some more there. On the last iteration there wasn't any knock and it was pretty aggressive. My AFR's were rock solid with that one. Hell I just checked my log, the highest KR on the log I used for the VD plot was 1.05. So not terribly significant.

Here's the log...

Well I flashed Cobb stage 1 with my mods; here's the graph:
