Default who's played with there ignition table / timing ??

Was wondering what would happen if i advanced the timing a degree or so for WOT. My car runs great now, got my boost, fuel curve, ect.. dialed in off the stage2SF93Oct map and now i think i wanna try messing with the timing just a little bit. has any one done this??

I attached my last data log of me running WOT 2nd to the end of 4th gear for you to see if the conditions are ok to add a degree of timing. that knock u see was just because i forgot to shut off traction control oops. Lemme know what u think. thanks.

I agree that traction control was working cause your throttle closed from ~75% to ~50%. However, I believe that your knock comes from your VERY low fuel pressures.

i noticed that too, and it only happens when my traction light is flashing during wheel spin, ive always assumed the ecu does that. it never happens any other time.

we know the ecu pulls fuel when the TC light comes on but we don't know how. maybe it takes away some voltage from the pump? that would sort of explain the lower FP

I have played with advancing the ignition timing a few percent from the .31 to .63 range between 2500-3500 RPM to see if I could get better gas mileage for cruising on the highway, but I didn't see anything measurable, so I returned it to where it was.

you cant adjust timing fully with ATR because theres another map that only protuners can see which is total timing advance or something. thats the table that really needs to be edited.
