| Who Are We & Why Are We Here? |
| Welcome to Mazdaspeed forums. The reason why this forum was started was for the people. To many mazda forums run their boards based off revenue generated from Vendors. Its no secret that today running a forum, isnt that expensive. Especially with how competitive dedicated hosting is. The problem with these other forums is, they take you, me and everyone else, and use us for profit. They dont care if their sponsored vendor rips off the customer. Instead, they want you to air the dirty laundry out in PMs where other members wont be able to see. I think this is WRONG and potential customers SHOULD be aware of service issues that arise. A friend of mine was banned off a forum simply from airing out his dispute with a authorized vendor. The owner of the site wanted to shut up the forum member to keep the vendor happy. Well im here to tell you at Mazdaspeed forums, we dont operate like that. Although its nice to have authorized vendors flipping the bills, i have designed this board to be cost effective where i dont have to worry about Vendors paying my bill. This way, potential customers can see how a vendor deals with customers and all disputes will be handled publicly. There is no hiding here at Mazdaspeed Forums. |
| Using the custom forum features on mazdaspeed forums |
| 1) Do you not like the custom skin featured here? You can change it. There are several other choices. To change the skin, look to the bottom left of your screen. You will see the skin switcher. 2.) How do i ignore new posts from certain forums? Navigate to your UserCP settings. Select Edit Options. Scroll down to the bottom and you can choose which forums to ignore new posts from ( Computer/Technology, Auto News, Hot Deals, Etc ). To select more than one forum, hold down your CRTL button while left clicking your mouse. 3.) How do i write a suggestion for the site? Navigate over to the Website Help/Feed back forum under the General/Off Topic forum header. We read every post & concern you write here. |
