Default New Dyno 300 + with AP

Did a before and after with the TMIC. Points to note

Boost dropped from 20 to 17 or so . V103f dialed it back over time i guess
Runs were done hot, 10 min between runs to swap ic's
Mod list is as follows

Sri
Vibrant
Forge BPV
AP with V103f Stage 1

Black line is stock tmic, Blue is ETS TMIC

ETS Vs stock dyno

That's interesting. I thought I'd see a bigger difference. Were you sure that the ETS didn't have a leak like some were prone too?

where did they leak ? I did see the boost drop off towards the top of the run - i can pressure test it to make sure.

Things I dont like: Suspension (very bouncy/underdampened-FSD's tamed that), Tires (road noise-FSD's much reduced noise), Right knee/console interference, Bottom seat cushion too narrow between the bolsters. I could use another 1" telescoping of the steering wheel.

I find a couple of things interesting. On the stock IC, timing is quite a bit lower than stock - sitting at around 10 degrees. Were these done in 4th gear? This is good because there is more boost than stock for sure. I love how flat boost stays.

Also, does the ECU tune the wastegate solenoid response over time? This is something I have always wondered myself.

Finally, a cooler charge should result in more boost. Better flow should result in more boost. So you should have seen more boost with the ETS, not less. Def pressure check it.

1. Its possible that timing is indexed to boost, since the boost is lower the timing is higher ?

2. Cooler charge air = lesser boost. Take a given mass of air in a container - heat it and the pressure increases, cool it and the pressure reduces. That "might" explain the lower boost but i need to pressure test it. Interestingly enough the car ran slightly leaner which is contrary to what a boost leak would cause.
