Well I finally got to meet Tim who i must say is a very down to earth cool person and talk car shit and hang around at the meet tonight. So he throws me the keys and tells me to take his car for a test drive just to see what he's talking about and I must say I was beyond impressed with the way his car drove.

Tim has a topmount and intake for power mods and that car felt every bit the 280+ whp it put down on our local dyno. Now I must say for me to even bat an eyelash at it deserves a hand cause one I'm used to driving my car so I thought that Tims car would feel on the soft side to me but honestly it didn't. The way the flash is set up is different from what my car feels though. So lets say from a 30 roll in 2nd gear my Tq come on earlier and almost too strong to the point it can be considered violent. Tim set it up so you get the target hp numbers but he kept the TQ under control so it feels like you tq carries over a longer period of time. And we all know TQ is the thing that break shit on the street so that was a plus. The Piasini tune seems to ramp or step in the TQ continually. weird feeling at first for me but once the car took of I realized it was more functionally then me where i spin 2nd BAD from any kinds of roll. Fun little fucker if you ask me.

Now my car pretty much has the turbo side of the power equation maxed out around 22 psi but im thinking more timing and leaner numbers will get me to 320's. I was holding off on a piggy back since the stock ecus ability to save your as incase of danger or adjust for weather is basically stopped since a piggy back basically lies to the car in dumb down terms. Thats a Blanket statement about most piggy backs so don't think its directed at cp-e. I'm thinking I may try and have Tim flash my car and I'll pay to dyno it and see if anything else can be gained or how it changes the graph compared to my stock ECU graph. I'm not gonna lie my car is hauling right now so im a little tentative to go fucking with it by adding any kinda aftermarket tunning solution but just drive Tims car wow'd me enough to be willing to take the chance.

Now since I haven't joined one side or the other I'll just say for what he's charging and the way that car feels I must say right now its A product where you can put it on and get results right after the flash. Cp-E is also a great Product but just went a different route where you are given the ability to custom tune your self but have no out the box package. I wont compare them anymore then that since that wasn't the point of this thread. Nice job Tim with the Piasini flashes. Thats the type of thing customers should be getting for there money when they buy a product.

No need for thanks. I've seen the dynos and driven the car now. I give credit were credit is due that's all. I support any product that works.

Phil, glad you liked the the product. Have you driven any Cobb tuned cars to compare? I am very impressed that Tim's car has no exhaust modifications and is still able to perform as you describe.
