Default Piasini flash and DP back fire

I guess this is a question for Tim or anyone with the Piasini flash and a DP:

Like everyone else with a DP, I'm experiencing back firing... and I don't like it. I'm getting the Piasini flash soon and my understanding is that it will lean out the fueling somewhat. Will the Piasini flash do away with the back firing, or is that too much to hope for?

I have the cp-e catted DP and a reworked K04. If the back firing doesn't disappear with the Piasini, there will be a heat wraped DP up for sale shortly...

Okay, thanks Tim, that sounds promising... Anyone else that can share their experience?

Is it true that the Piasini flash is leaner than the stock map? Do you know if this was a concern when the flash was developed?

By the way, have you had any cold-weather experience with the flash yet?

Thats because most people like the backfiring...

I don't think the backfiring will cease...reduce yes, but not totally disappear.

What kind of BOV/BPV are you running ccs70? Is you are VTA, then thats where your main source of backfiring is coming from.

I'm running the forge bpv... however, I'm experiencing a boost or vac leak that I can't find the source of. This results in a erratic idle. Thought perhaps the back firing and boost/vac leak where unrelated, but I suppose that a boost leak easily could result in back firing.

Yes, a boost/vacuum leak will cause major backfire!!!
