Should i get a cpe standback??

I currently have an accessport. The only mod i have so far is a cobb sri. I flashed back to stock the other day and realized that i actually like the way stock feels better than v1.02. Makes me really disappointed in the accessport. I plan on doing more bolt ons in the future. My question is, would it be worth it to sell my ap and by a standback. Would i see any gains on a basically stock car with a sri? I am nervious about tuning my own car. Does Cpe do custom OTC maps for standback owners via dattalogging through email etc... Thanks for the help.

I would wait for the V1.03 release before dumping it, or ask someone for a beta to see if it's still not working for you.

I am waiting much longer to see how all this shakes out. I happen to agree that a standback or other piggyback devices are a bad idea in general, the true way to tune is via a flash of the ecu with all corrected tables and parameters in place to correctly run the engine safely. Give the market more time for the true picture to reveal itself. Right now the mzr disi is still fairly new on the scene (3 years now still young )....

There is a fine engineering dance going on under the hood involving boost, fuel delivery (or lack of) , high pressure DI pump and injection system, give the right people time to figure all this out.

if you want tuning control now, with a tool thats been used for over a year, making great numbers, with virtually zero complaints.... buy a standback.

if you want what some call "the true way to tune", than buy medication, booze, try to forget about your car, seek counseling.....and continue to wait for them to "figure it out". Its been 7 months, so hopefully their close.

oh btw.... plan b will go better if you flash back to stock for now. theres a reason you like it better. its more powerful.

lets see, fully bolted gt35 car tuned by me with the standback....ZERO issues. Yea i think it will do you good ont he stock turbo and whatever mods you have. Ive made some great track tiems and power with the standback on the stock turbo. The possibilites with it are limitless, none of this omg i added a catback, my tune is shot bullshit

i have the SB and minimal mods and i noticed a big difference just using it as a boost controller. once i can get some decent logs that chris can work with im sure it will surprise me all over again.

i kno iw as really looking forward to getting an AP but after readin up on the SB lately i wanna get one. i have no experience with timing whatsoever so idk if itll be something i can actually utilize and not blow my motor haha i dont understand any of it
