Default open and closed loop

Not sure if im just a little slow with this info but here it is anyway.. after actually watching my LTFT and my open/closed loop status.. I actually worked out that the car does into open loop at 5psi boost under 3000rpm...

however over 3000rpm it goes into open loop as soon as it sees positive boost ie 1psi. Just something interesting, not sure if anyone has bothered to look into it, or ive just missed the boat and this is late news.. (prob the later)

When i go into open loop my LTFT goes straight to Zero and obviously the commanded afr starts to richen up pretty dramatically.

Is everyone seeing 0 LTFT at WOT?

Cheers guys

i see 0 ltft at wot. at idle, my shit is all fucked up. like +11.
do you have an air straightener for your intake doc?
i'm late on this subject as well, but i'm not sure how often it's talked about. i know there is a thread here somewhere regarding the theory behind it

For those of us that spend most of our time on 247 what is LTFT and where can I find it in my dashhawk? I can check and see if I am seeing the same

LFTF= long term fuel trims. No idea where it is on your dashhawk. Should be a very easily accessible parameter to pull up though.

For me: stock car, AP w/ v103 map reflash. LTFT @ idle ~ 8. Drops to 3-5 at partial throttle, 0-1 @ WOT.

I have ~100 miles on the reflash. I expect the LTFT to improve after the next tank or so.

The closed to open loop transition is based on load and certain cl>ol delay values in the ecu from what I understand. Going heavy on the gas at low rpm will load up the engine and throw it into open loop.
