Im not saying this to be cocky, but there is no doubt in my mind that there is more knowledge on this board about our car, then the entire state of utah combined.

Ive seen more posted datalogs and impressions... talked to guys that blew their engines. i dont think Cobb has used "search" if this is the best they can do. They say the ecu is so tough.... I think they needed to get the project done so they "went safe". Problem is exactly what laloosh said. They dont know the car yet.

If they think the car has "plenty of fuel".... then their no further ahead than the procede tuner in georgia. I think those were the famous last words by rican219.

They even stated that the cdfp is unnecessary!!!??!! WTF..... then how do you explain my car cold weather fuel cutting like a mother fucker without it. Then add cdfp... gt3071 @18psi, manifold, and similar temps, with no cut.

how the hell can you then say pressure isnt an issue?

Even the tsb addresses the pressure primarily. it just shows how potentially off this all is. in cobb we trust.... i dont think so. not for 10 wheel horse...i dont think so.

they really need to read up on this car before they claim to know what they think they know.....I believe their solution to the fuel problem is opening up the pws more/longer....yea good luck trying to keep pressure. MAybe that works at 6k feet asl, but not at sea level. Im truly dissapointed in this. I guess all thats left is superchips...

eh, waited a while. I can wait a bit longer before I write it off. We'll see what happens when it's actually in peoples hands and they go dyno. Maybe it will be the same, maybe better/worse who knows. It hasn't been released and already people are saying it's dead. I'll wait until it's released and I've seen it in person, so I can base my opinions on actual first hand observations...

Jesus christ. Palerider and Laloosh...you guys are really making asses out of yourselves on the other forum. The sad thing is, you guys have some valid questions that Cobb should definitely be answering, but there's a good chance they won't now because they have to sift through all this bullshit namecalling and arguing just to get to the questions.

The people at Cobb have been courteous to everyone, despite what's been going on, but yet you continue to act like 16 year old kids (especially Palerider...who never fails to mention in every post that he has the highest whp ms3...that gets really old after awhile.) Seriously, you guys have good points, but unless you are making a valid point or asking a serious question, please just shut the fuck up, for everyone else's sake.

It scares me that they say the car has enough fuel stock. Particularly since they are spooling up the turbo earlier and upping the boost.

I wonder if that 30 day money back promise will include the engines that are going to get blown when cool weather hits the low altitudes......

yeah.... i mention it when dumbasses, with intakes and motormounts try to minimize my opinion either because im not "Josh at Cobb" or "i pay for my installs". Screw that. I dont think were making asses out of ourselves.... the thread has gone to hell and everybody thats posted save 1 or 2 are interested to hear the answers to our "valid" questions.

I also mention MY CAR when people minimize by route as if it isnt valid because I didnt wait for Cobb, or that I now support the standback, etc, etc. my results speak for themselves. I will continue to refer to my car often, its where i have most of my experiences....lol

And the 100 or so people who have pmed me looking for advice and feedback dont think its old.... they think its neat. Id love some company....absolutely love it. Theres at least 4 people who right now are about to be announcing more results with big turbos going on. Im very proud to be the first dynoed out here and cant wait for someone else to pick up the torch for a while.

Finally.... youre the dick that sucked me into that other argument a couple weeks ago about how "awesome" the AP was gonna be and how lousy the standback is.... you think Im glad I didnt wait for "this"? How can i not mention my car, and experience, when Im getting compared with ......the Cobb way. The Cobb way which apparently involves thousands of dollars spent for approx. 10-20whp gains and valet mode...lol

Agreed and this is the point Laloosh and Pale are trying to make on the other board. Also everyone knows tq kills rods.

my point is just to wait and see what happens at sea level.

The saving grace of the ap IMHO is the pnp capability, free-ware maps, and the street tuner software.

the OTS maps are just to keep me busy until the real tuning software comes out.

seriously, guys...i know you've put a crapload of time and effort into modifying, tuning, and learning about your cars, but the way you guys are coming off over there is confrontational and cocky. you obviously have learned a whole hell of a lot about the car, but just because you can't explain what cobb has done, does not mean that they're a bunch of tools that do not know the car.

i know that there's a lot that you can learn from the car from observing behavior from logs, dynos, mod behaviors, etc. and putting some good deductive analysis to the data you see, but give them the benefit of the doubt, since they have actually been mucking around in the ECU and may have found something that you do not know about. you guys put forth some very important questions, but then you followed it up with a bunch of arguing with some people looking to start shit...none of whom represented cobb in any way, shape, or form. i know you have a lot of pride in what you've accomplished so far (and you deserve to have this after all your efforts), but those guys at cobb have also put in a lot of blood and sweat into their work, so give them some time to respond to your key points so that we can all see what they say about the reliability of adding power down low and what this all looks like when they have more data to show us. getting into a shit-talking contest with some random people in the thread is really taking away from your original points just because it overshadows the rational points you've made. people tend to overlook calculated thought when they see flared tempers and angry words. you meet hostility with hostility, and in the end, you get jack shit, because people are too busy trying to stab each other in the eye to see wtf is going on.
