Default Again With The Fuel Cut
So I noticed a weird thing today. Running in 5th if I floor it from 3000RPM I watch the fuel pressure drop and when it gets down too around 600 I start to get hesitation, just little ones.

But if I floor it from above 4000RPM in 5th the fuel pressure doesn't seem to drop down, stays well above 1000.

I'm not even sure if I'm using the right PID in the DashHawk but it called Fuel Pressure and reads in PSI.

I'll post the datalog tomorrow when I get a chance.

Make sure you pick the Fuel Pressure Direct Injection PID. It will read FuelDI on the DH.

Yeah, it's weird though. It only does it when I go WOT from lower RPM's. Does this have somethign to do with it being a CDFP?

The other think to note is that it's getting colder here. I don't know how much of a difference it would make but yesterday my intake temps were consistently below 90F.

hey sounds like boost spike to me? thats how people go zoom-boom by loading the enigne with wot at low rpm

Boost spike? How do you figure? The stuttering starts after 4500RPM when I get on it from low RPM's. BY the time it starts the boost is leveled out. I think it's fuel cut but I find it wierd that I only get it when I start from lower RPM's.

I'll get that Datalog this afternoon. Left it in my car and I'm too lazy to go get it.

As for the zoom-boom I know. It's always there in the back of my head but what are you going to do?

oh ok im sure that will fix your problem.lol i was thinking more on a mooseback or somthing,but dog sled will work.i get my internals today.
