Default Fuel pressure dip: Do I need a new pump?

This is a 3rd gear log. The fuel pressure dipped, but the AFR stayed the same.

sure does look like it. i was told i needed one and my tuning couldn't go on cause my does the same thing. mine just isn't as severe.

Is it consistent for you guys? I've been logging for about a month now, and this is the first time we've seen this. In fact, today's log doesn't have the dip. Today's log was done in 4th gear.

i'll have to go grab my dashhawk and see if my 3rd gear log did it as well, what i posted was 4th gear, but i'm almost certain it was there.

What about the AFR? If there is a lack of fuel, wouldn't the AFR go lean?

Well, initial fueling demand is greatest at peak torque. Fueling requirements then follow the torque curve. Peak torque is almost always at a lower RPM, so fuel requirements are greatest there. As torque falls, fueling requirements fall. At higher RPM, you actually have more ability to compress fuel because it is driven off the engine (camshaft). your afr's did go lean. look at where the FP dropped and the AFR over that point.

Yeha just like buildabong when it dips down like that to 1000-800 u need a upgraded fuel pump.
