| So we have a few sets of injectors getting tested but we are running into some problems. Let me explain... We are trying to find the delta pressure for the injectors. The way we do this is to get the cyl pressure and subtract that from the injectors pressure. This way we can get the actual injector flow. The problem being, cyl pressure. It varies to much deppending on what turbo or how much boost your running. The injector flow will be all over the place. So to resolve these issues have decided to stick to the industry standard of 3 bar. Now some will have a problem with this and some will not. Its going to be much easier for the industry standard to be used other the the other option (bar rating and flow over calculated cyl pressures). So the initial results are mid 200's cc's to 300 cc's at 3 bar delta. This was calculated off the stock boost cyl pressures (calculated) for the delta pressure numbers. They are going to change as you up the boost, change pistons (higher or lower compression ratios), big turbo kits ect ect. This is just an idea on getting numbers out there for those that are wondering what we have in our cars. Now on to the exciting news, bigger injectors. We will have beta test units in the next month if all goes well and in the next 2 months if not. We will be testing + 20% and + 30% units on stock pump pressure (we don't think this is going to work very well) and on modded pump pressures. End of the year and we should have a marketable product for all of you. Its taking way longer then we expected to get these done but the DI market has just started to warm up to mods and these are really new applications that we are breaking into. I will try to keep this info updated as I get it from the suppliers that are working with me. Hope this helps with those that are looking for another fueling solution.

| We have sent them out to 3 different companies, so far they have all said no. Only custom ground units can be done up for us and those are a one at a time basis. I have no idea why they are afraid of doing these cams. Must be the pump lobe.

| Like I said its a calculated delta flow numbers. Really its not, they DI motors do not need a much feul as pre-cyl injectors. There is less over lap in the cam events and the fuel is used much more eff then the other designs. You still need the BSFC to meet your power goals, but the make full use of the fuel getting injected. Again we are taking a look at getting real numbers but the cyl pressures are going to create some issues. For traditional injection systems its easy to determine delta flow numbers (pressure is measurable in the intake runner), with DI applications its going to take some work. Getting more flow out of the stock injectors, easy..... how much you need, thats going to be the problem.

| OK, CPE says they have 100% control over the ecu. I shot them an email explaining how I'd like the injection event bumped earlier in the cycle. I'm still awaiting a responce, but if they can |
