Default Florida is on some other shizzle

Coincedentally i had this same exact conversation with kevin sometime last week, believe it was friday and this happened that same night. So i was explaining on the shout box how bad street racing is down here. If anyone has ever drove into FL from out of state, few miles after the state line there is a huge azz sign. SPEED CHECKED BY AIRCRAFT - they werent bullshitting because i got to see this mess first hand. I was heading down i95 about 80 give or take, i find it hard to do 65-70 which is the posted limits and this mazda protege was messing with me but i didnt take the bait, its just a waste of gas these days. Couple miles after i met up with this car on the highway my radar goes nuts and around the bend a cop had a car pulled, so i resumed my speed of 80 and this protege goes flying by well over 100 or close to it...if anyone knows though no one here really drives the posted limit...i dont think anyone does, we just have too much open road. Anyway, i look over and there are like six cars pulled over. a couple scoobys and a fx35. All of a sudden we seen lights from out of nowhere coming from behind...literally nowhere blazing towards us, they blow by me and pull the protege and another car that was excessivly speeding. My little cuz looked over at me and said "DUDE! WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT!?" my response "watch for flow flying aircraft". the look on his face was priceless.

what makes these tri-counties so bad is that there are many wealthy ppl who give their 15 year old sons/daughters cars that are way too fast for them to even drive in reverse.

Or they could have been using LIDAR from an overpass. Sneaky bastards. They're always hiding at the back side of a hill or behind walls here. Usually IF your detector picks it up you're already busted.

Our problem in and around the Baltimore area seems to be crotch rocket jockeys who think it's a great idea to swerve in between traffic on the beltway.

Counties and Cities are hurting for money, so traffic enforcement are big "gimme's"

If you look back at statistics relating to traffic enforcement through the last 40 years, you will see heightened traffic enforcement/speed traps during times of failed economy.

This is done for two reasons.... justification for a dept's force size and added county/city revenue since consumers are spending less money.

traffic enforcement was put into effect over 60yrs ago. cities found it as a good way of additional income and then it was made law.

funny how things work.

I agree FL is bad, but Jacksonville is far worse than anything. Most police I've ever seen out of any single city in Florida. I've gotten pulled over for bs reasons, and usually just take the tickets to court and they are dropped np.
You're ok doing 5 over, anything else and your ass is gonna be pulled over.

Recently I got cited for driving with undue care, simply b/c I passed an cruiser at 70mph on a wet highway, limit is 65. She claimed she Paced me at 77, but how can you pace someone when you are in slower traffic in the middle lane? Her initial accusation was with radar, to which I asked to see.
She claimed I was traveling too fast for the conditions as the ticket says it was raining ( which it was not, weather was overcast and it had rained about an hour prior). I go to court next Monday so wish me luck ^_^.

thats going to be dropped if the cop was in a seperate lane and with traffic, thats just bullshit. i had a cop tell me that they have to pull behind or up to your quater panel and pace you for like a minute until they see no fluctuation in speed to pull you over. I've also hear JAX is bad with street racing, i see some of the videos ya'll put out....and WoW!

gainesville and lakeland are really bad.

gainesville lol (later in the vid it shows all the cops haha)

tampa isn't bad, even though it's like one of the best street racing spots in the state with the 3 bridges...but the scene here pretty much died years ago, its just ricers now lol
