| not bad super... looks good im sure this has been discussed before.. and im off topic.. but what would be the benefits of heat wrapping the hot side of the intercooler piping?

| i heat wrapped the hot side because its directly above the manifold and it helps keep the aluminum pipe from getting so heat soaked.

| Al is a pretty good thermal conductor and the air coming immediately from the turbo is much hotter than the engine bay. By wrapping the hot pipe you're effectively trapping heat in your IC piping. Wrapping your intake pipes is logical but probably not worth much. Wrapping any part of your IC piping dramatically reduces the radiative cooling efficiency of the system. | ||||||||
