First I would like to say Hector over at exhaust depot has outdone himself again with this DP. We all know all the things hector has been able to do in the past and how successful it has made him as well up to now. Great Job Hector and no complains.

To begin I'm sure you guys have already seen the pix over at the Exhaust Depot-Working on Downpipe! thread. If you haven't then here it is. This should cover most angles including it installed on my car(before the HKS CBE install).

Now i havent dyno'd yet since I been soo damn busy. The only way I can put it is the difference is DRASTIC! When I say drastic I mean "feels like a new car" drastic. The difference in power is remarkable and honestly I dont think that there is any other modification that you can do to this speed3 that will make you feel the difference like this DP(except for BT).

The build is pretty straight forward from what you can see from the pics. I currently own the catless DP and I know that CPE/CS/TXS are known for the SMOKING issue. I dont think that my car is different from any other speed3 and I did smoke for the 1st day but after that have not smoked again. I do have assumptions that the flex pipe built into it may be the reason.

Final, Sound improvements. I will post the links with my current exhaust setup with the DP. Now, with DP alone and stock exhaust this car went from dead quiet to like a 4 on a scale of 1-10 10 being the loudest. The sound that it gives is something you would hear on a mustang with flowmasters but with very small piping. Um, pretty close to the NSRT4 stock except cleaner and not so throaty. no offense to NSRT4 owners but damn they all sound like they got emphisema. lol. I dont know if i spelled that right. So guys here go the sound clip/vids and i do plan to dyno but seeing that they are selling as expected some1 may beat me to it. I cant explain how happy I am with this DP and how fortunate I am to have this one over the competition. I recommend this product to anyone 100%. If you got one already put it up for sale and get this one I think it still cost $285.00.

If you guys have any questions feel free to ask. Except for install questions since hector did it for me. . I pretty much live in this forum so post comments if you want more info because Im sure I left stuff out.
Did you have any problem with the 02 sensor or the wires contacting the mani?
I read where one guy stated that he had to reinstall the stocker because the 02 was hitting the mani.
Can you take pics of the 02 on your set up? I'd love to see it prior to attempting my install.

Thanks

Can you tell from the pic attached if your bung is welded in the same place as mine?
You can reference the upper left bolt hole to try to determine placement.
Thanks

I think he meant that the flex was what was smoking and not stopping it. I could be wrong though.
