Group buy interest on Short Ram pieces???

I'm putting together an order to make short ram pieces, similar to other short ram intakes out there, but MUCH cheaper. The silicone section will be a 90 degree bend though to tuck the filter closer to the battery box to make room for air/water intercooler cores. Is anyone interested in the silicone section like this for $50 plus shipping? It will be available in blue only and look similar to the Cobb silicone section, or the replacement piece that Street Unit sells for $80+.

Not asking for any money yet, just interest. If the interest is there by the end of next week or so, I'll ask for money and work something out for site payment/advertisement with Haltech because there will be more to come. Hal, you will have a PM shortly.

Yup, making those too. 3" OD 2.62 ID with air straighteners. I've got one running on my car now and should have those available sometime soon too.

EDIT: Forgot to add, it's a bellmouth design too from 4" outer down to 2.62 inner. Or I can build straight 3" ones if your filter has a built in bellmouth.

Will do. I thought about offering it in pieces since a lot of people already have filters (or have access to them), but it seems like most are interested in full kits.

Updated the first post with pics of the MAF adapter being made out of interfence press fit rings based off of a 3" OD/ 2.62 ID aluminum pipe. The outer rings are heated, the center piece cooled in ice water, then pressed together using a 15 ton press (I broke my 6" vice trying to put it together, then purchased a new vice and the proper press to assemble these pieces).

Once everything is pressed together, then I will turn them in my lathe to make a bellmouth entrance. For anyone not needing a bellmouth entrance, we'll just use the 3" OD pipe without the outer rings pressed one and you can buy your own 3" filter if you want to.

Also now shown in the first post is the 3/4" thick flat stock that will be turned into the upper sensor/electronics mount.

Also added a pic to show the base 3" OD/ 2.62" ID pipe before the rings are pressed on.
