|  ANOTHER Smoking Turbo... 2007 26000 miles Dead stock I just noticed it while than I was waiting in line at a Sonic drive-through. The car had been idling less than five minutes.

| Speed6 Enthusiast  | how many miles since oil change? and what kind of oil are you using? you should try a heavier oil and see what happens. |

| SInce its still stock just take it back to the dealer and have them take care of it..When you get the new turbo you may want to change to a 10W30 synthetic oil.

| Speed6 Enthusiast | i'm thinking that you see it at idle or maybe when you first start it up after parking for about 10min because the turbo gets pretty hot and if there is some oil sitting in there it will thin out quite a bit and leak past those seals, it doesn't take a lot of oil to get by to produce a good amount of smoke. the use of the heavier oil will prevent it from thinning out enough for it to get past the seals. yes i'm sure a lot of you knew this but just trying to help out. |

| It's going to the dealer next Monday. So far I've had a blown LF strut and the smoking turbo and the car doesn't have 27,000 miles on it...
