lol, are you for real? Even though there are other mods put in place, Whoosh was running 20 psi with no tune and stock internals. The biggest thing you need to worry about in this case is having something to tune with and the fuel pump. The other thing would be not getting too boost happy. The 35R is great in the sense that where people are popping motors (rpm-wise), it doesn't create boost...

the 35r at 17psi is safer in my eyes than a k04 at 17psi...but what do i know...I is turbo noob

The reason I say this is for a few reasons. The 35r although it is flowing more air it is doing so at much cooler temperatures and is making boost slower so that it is at 17psi around 4000+ rpms when the motor is not loaded with too much timing and hot air and etc down low. I personally think the k04 is the biggest problem because it is too small for a 2.3. The k04 should remain on 1.8 and 2.0 audis and vdubs.

on my turbo 3 i ran a 35r. even at 29psi my boost temps were colder than what i see daily on my stock turbo ms6

as for you nighthawk...you should DEFINATELY be doing EVERYTHING with carlos from creative performance. he would fly in to do things with me on my turbo3. he is in puerto rico and is the best tuner i've ever seen when it comes to mazdas. if you plan on going big talk to him. He can do it for you or help you with it and you will be gaurenteed a reliable car. He is the shit. his website Creative Performance at www.cpboost.com
