Not if you have to take the exhaust out to reach the exhaust ports to do a poor job, if you want to clean it the right way, you have to take the head out, if not all the carbon can fell in the cilinder if the valves are open.

oh i would never do that with the head on. i meant putting it in the parts washer "tub" and getting the carbon out versus spending hours polishing.

haha, i have heard of people trying to polish ports with the head on...yet they are still surprised when they dont make any gains because they could only reach about an inch into the ports

And there you have it friends. I was waiting for someone to really bring PnP to the market for us. I know DISI is a different animal but from my 1.8T VAG days, CFM is power. end of story. Some nice cams, better hardware and these cars will really scream with a GT3582.
