i am wondering what rpm would be best to launch, what is the best for street tires? id imagine 2800ish so we wont bog down..

After playing around with mine 3400 seems to stops the bog with side steping the clutch. anything lower you still get a "LULL" when traction hits. Again people any one launching there car at 3k or lower is "Sliping the clutch" till it gets up to speed. Theres no way to launch a car at 2800 side steping the clutch and not be bucking from the car trying to stall out.

I'm pretty sure there were 5000 3's made for the US in 07 but I think that number rose slightly in 08. Keep in mind, you still have the Aussies and the Hosers (yes, I'm that old lol) up north in Canada. eh?

Yeah, that's great. Are the Australians and Canadians on this board as well? I've received a few orders from each place, but if there is somewhere else I should start posting as well, that would be good to know.

Are they going to continue making the 3 in 2009 or is it game over for Mazda?

yea i guess mazda only does a 2 year run for speed versions.

That's interesting. Although, the SRT-4 was only 3 years... But I think that was mainly because the Neon was killed off.

I don't think there is a Mazdaspeed3 planned for 09. As mentioned above, it's a 2 year run for most vehicles.

Well no ones confirmed it. But, if there is one, supposedly it has a pussy 2.0 engine instead of the 2.3 DISI. Im sure it will be a DISI variant, just smaller. I guess mazda is going to put the 2.3 DISI into a MPV or something.
